I dunno why we laugh but there were a whole lot of people who knew who he was. Bob Ross was an American artist known for The Joy of Painting, an instructional television program that aired from 1983 to 1994 on PBS. I learned of him from a fiend that was watching him… well I won’t get into the details but it was in those college years where many things were quite amusing. Mr. Ross has a very laid back and groovy attitude toward art as evidenced by the many “happy indications” in his art. You can purchase your very own Bob Ross Figurine and remember him forever.
